Has anyone done this in NZ?
Know of any off-the-shelf RHD replacement pipes?

the issue I see here is there is not really a great deal of benefit that I have come across by doing this very mod on the B8S4.

Stock downpipes flow 500hp along with stock catalytic converters, so why spend money if you don't need to?

Stock cats have a high likelihood of melting from 450hp on.
Stage 2+ really wants test pipes or high flow cats.
Not for performance but because the increase in heat dictates it.

There?s a fabricator based in CHCH who is doing the modifications on my Mertops to fit a RHD, so I?ve got a 3D scanner to take a full image to replicate the work. With his permission, as it could become a part that he wants to offer for sale.

He is also going to use the old cats as a base for RHD specific test pipes, ones that don?t require a dimple in the drivers side to clear the steering column.

Currently the false firewall is the main problem, very small levels of clearance for O2 sensors with spacers. Would like to be able to have a part that requires no other modifications than the removal and refit of the existing cats.

not at all, been running 497HP on multiple B8/B8.5 S4's now for many kms with zero issues what so ever.
In the US they have tested excess of 100,000 miles.
