Love that wheel!

I remember seeing one of these a while ago, I thought it was a mint white mk1 but up closer it was a 91!

Very cool little cars, was one on trademe a few months ago.

cool. I nearly bought a 91 city golf that was a mk1 shape from a wreaker but it didnt have a flash new interior like that!!! it was just a carbed 1500 as well.

So just what is a CITI?
I walked past a red one on the way to work this morning: Mk1 shape, but looks too new. 4 headlight front and rear badge "CITIGOLF' and "CTi".

basically SA never stopped the Golf 1... so they badged it CitiGolf and the top of the range "Cti", had the mk2 Gti engine...

the Cti only came out with the 1.8 8v engine!
