Is it possible to update SatNav without visiting dealer?

Is it possible to update SatNav on Mk7 R line Golf (NZ new) without visiting dealership ?

You could try the following link. , Select your model and then select infotainment version then scroll all the way down the bottom for aus/nz you can then create a sd card with the update. Or download the software Discover care and it will create the card for you.Unless you have the infotainment that has to have the sd card always in the slot then its a lot more difficult.

No, Japanese imports need the region changed, firmware installed, maps installed, and activated to your cars VIN number.

Can only be done by a few companies, as its done with a remote connection to Europe.

Its from Ebbetts VW Hamilton, so all changed over to NZ
