Hi guys,

I am looking to upgrade the stock IC to an aftermarket one that sits in front of the AC condenser, not in the stock location. I?ve come across three brands that do such a fmic, Neuspeed being one of them. Not to be confused with the twintercooler from the likes of Forge Motorsport, which is piped in parallel to the stock IC, and which I am not completely sold on. The Neuspeed kit comes with "block-offs" to plug the stock IC, or a removal kit can be purchased separately to improve airflow through the AC condenser and rad. I just wanted to know what you guys think of an upgraded IC in the stock location vs one up front (solo or twin)?

Neuspeed fmic: https://neuspeed.com/collections/volkswagen-golf-gti-mk5-2-0l-tfsi/products/neuspeed-front-mount-intercooler-481093
Forge Motorsport twintercooler: https://www.forgemotorsport.com/Twintercooler_for_Golf_MK5_Edition_30--product--695.html

Ignore the prices as these are available for less at online stores.

As always, all feedback is much appreciated.

Cheers!
