Still love my MIB 1 to MIB 2 upgrade but I am incredibly lazy and cannot be arsed plugging my phone into the unit every time I get into the car. I have taken a punt on a wireless option that is on its way at the moment, hopefully it works it says it will, I not worried about battery drain on phone as not in the car long enough for that to matter.

You can update the firmware on it to keep it up to date as well.

Don't know if anybody else is interested in this but will update once it get's here and if it works.

Total cost to door was $263.65 NZD

Got it from here

That looks pretty good.
I wonder if it would work on a retro fitted RCD330plus?

I imagine it would. Looks like it emulates an iPhone connected to the radio and then proxies it back the phone. So as long as the head unit supports Carplay, this should work.....

Arrived today and was pretty much plug and play, I know first world problems and all that but being able to just jump in the car and auto connect wireless carplay is pretty nice.

I would say if it worked on mine fine it would work on the RCD330
