Hi all,

I've got an 09 Golf TSI (twin charged, 65,000k). It just got back from the mechanic (again) with a new water pump, and now a new issue has popped up. When I push the accelerator down, at about 1/3 throttle I can heard a sort of click/clunk coming from the engine bay. It happens each time the pedal is pushed. It's not super loud but can be heard with the window open at lowish speeds.

Before I drop it back to the mechanic, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what the noise could be?

This car is a bit of a nightmare.. hoping to get all of the issues fixed so I can sell it... will never do twin charged again!

Thanks in advance

Sounds like could be some sort of bushing or engine/trans mount. Would be a good starting point to check
