I had my Steering Wheel Swaped over to a 2018 DSG R line Steering wheel. My car is a 2015 1.4 TSI Manual.
After getting my Car Back Cruise Control doesn't work and Auto Stop start doesn't work. I get error Code 17149.
Check coding/version modules in drivetrain.
My car has has regular cruise control and the R line had Adaptive. Other than that all buttons look the same.
No Airbag Errors and Radio Buttons work fine.

I would say its a coding issue , Who swapped it over for you and can you take it back and ask them to code it properly.

Oh definitely a coding issue but they might not be able to solve it

. It is just a question if it is related to adaptive Cruise control or DSG paddles.

I would say it could be related to both but most probably the cruise controls.

Hey Joel - I have just sent you a PM. I have the solution for you  :)
You must have the correct steering wheel controls to correlate with your car spec. If you fit a wheel with an adaptive cruise control button when the car doesn't have it fitted it will throw an error.
