Audi 200
« on: August 17, 2020, 08:53:03 pm »
Hi. I am wondering if there are others out there with Audi 200's. I have a 1985 200TQ that i have had for a few years and wasnt in very good running order. So i spent some time on it fixing a few leaks. I have completely rebuilt the engine and all associated parts, steering pump, steering rack, alternator, starter, turbo, CIS fuel system. Rebuilt the drive-line, gearbox, rear diff, prop shaft, CV's etc. Rebulit the front and rear brakes and all suspension components. Worked through a few wiring issues. It was a lot of cleaning and as a result i dislike cleaning now. However the car runs and drives really nice now. Its done 160km since the overhaul. The car has 485 thousand and something km's on the clock. And just enjoying going for a weekend drive now. So curious to know if there are others still out there. Cheers Phil.

upload them to a site like imgur, photobucket etc ...then "copy image location" click on the image icon (bottom left on the button bars, the button icons just above this text box^^^^^^^^^) and post the location between the  brackets

this way the pic show within the post

Does not get any more classic than a Maraschino red 200TQ. Nice to see the detail and can appreciate the hours spent on this very much understated Ingolstadt motor. Old Hans stuck would be pleased.

Hi all. Thanks for comments i really appreciate it. There is one thing that im missing that i would like to find, the plastic fuel-injector cooling shroud. If anyone has one they dont mind parting with or knows where i can get one. There are a few little plastic bits that i have been able to make myself thanks to 3d printing but this is a little more complex.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
