Rear Axle Torque Sepcs
« on: September 23, 2020, 07:16:31 pm »
Hi team,
I'm replacing the mid muffler & back box section of my exhaust (mk4 v5). To do this I believe I need to drop the rear axle to allow room to pull the mid muffler out the back of the car.
Whatís holding me back is torque specs... Specifically the 4 bolts mounting the bushing assembly to the car and the 2 bolts connecting the top of the rear shock to the wheel-well.
Any help would be appreciated! :)

Also, excluding the jack points under the doors, are there any other safe points I can jack the car up from? Thisíll allow me to put jack stands at the door jack points with another (central) location to use my hydraulic jack...
Mk4 Golf v5
Mk3 Caddy 2.0 TDI - sold
Mk4 Golf 1.6 - rip

I tried the imgur route, which has been successful before, not dice, so it was PM and email

I had the same problem with imgur recently, had to change settings in my PC's adblock program to get imgur to work again. If you are running an adblocker, check your allowance settings.
