Lovely.  :D

How was the drive to Wellies? These R32's feel a bit more solid on the road compared to those o'l GTI's hey!  8)

For pete's sale, do not take your car to those public car wash pressure washers, their combination of pressure spray and the cheap nasty soap WILL get into those spots where these cars are probe to rust (tailgate and front fenders) and the paint will never shine to its fullest.

These are good for a DIY clean to start off with,

1. Armorall Wash & Wax soap (the blue one)
2. LiquiMoly Tyre bright (from Harry's euro, they do shipments)
3. Turtle wax Jet black (once every 6 months or so)
4. Oakwood leather wipes (for the seats)
5. A good wash sponge (those blue ones with the rastafarian tussles  ;D ) for outside wash, leather chamois for drying off and soft cloth for interior trim.

I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable guys on here will also have some good cleaning tips.

Another thing you should do the next time you have the wheels off the car, give those suspension springs and brake calipers a good clean and enjoy the nice blue colour.  :D

Awesome find!  Looks like a great platform for getting it back to tip-top shape.

For the tail pieces, I would recommend a good clean with APC, and then some Mothers Mag and Aluminium Polish to bring back that shine.

Nice one! Man, I wish i could have a weekend with that >:D. It would be a snow foam party! First thing i would recommend is clay and de-tar. If you dont have a machine polisher look into autoglym super resin polish, a great product to use by hand. It does look like it needs machine paint correction though because some rookie went to town with a rotary polisher on it...

Do the exhaust flapper mod next. Have a look at the exhaust back box and see if the vacuum line is still connected to the flapper valve, its on the left side of the box just behind the rear wheel. If it is, pull the vacuum line off from the flapper valve and cap it with a screw to seal it off and then ziptie the line out of the way.

There are some youtube videos on this.  :D

After this, a cupra R lip will be a nice addition.

I was already planning to do that once I got it, but old owner had already done it! Sounds beautiful hahaha
