I can only find the underlined A4 badge on the UK TQS, I wonder if the Le Mans is simply the NZ release of the UK TQS  but given a cooler name, well, because NZ rulz

Yes it does and I believe you are right, except the Le Mans cars had an MTM stage 1 tune  from new as well. So the tune is likely the only difference.

'Le Mans' was essentially an EMD marketing name, not an official moniker. Does your 1.8T badge look like this?:
