Anyone know if it's possible to read the build up in the particulate filter (that triggers either a regen or the warning light?)

I did find this: https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/reading-soot-level-with-torque.464119/page-4  And are trying to use OBD Fusion (for ios) with a generic WIfi ELM adapter.

Not sure if it's the best tool to use.

VCDS will definitely be able to tell you via measuring blocks and can force regen http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Diesel_Particle_Filter_Emergency_Regeneration

Not sure about doing via ELM.

Yeah was hoping to just see the last regen times and or grams of soot the car thinks it has.  Don't really want send any commands to the car to get it to do something, prefer only reading.
