Does anyone have ballpark cost estimate for this part for Mk6 GTi ? It?s the CDL engine code model, dual level and temp sensor has gone bad apparently so after dropping a wedge on dsg service this is next item for replacement. Threw up an temperature/level fault and switch off engine message on the weekend. A bit scary at the time.

wow, so much info provided within a single kit and crossover too.

mk6 GTI - has a CCBA or CCBC engine (EA888.1 engine)
mk6 ED35 - has a CDL engine (same engine as golf 6R)

dual temp level sensor?
I am taking you mean the car is showing low coolant? If so, check it's not low on coolant and waterpump is infact working
If verified - then replace coolant bottle. That is where the level sensor is located. when cold and right tools. Should only take approx 20-30 minutes to sort.
Can direct you to someone in chch if your require help

reading your post a few more times, I believe this to be your only issue and now you know how to sort it.

Sensor in the oil pan.

As Vert mentioned above, this is if it's low oil pressure.

It would pay to get the sump removed and oil pickup clean as well. Especially if your car has traveled more than 60,000kms.
That way you can verify it's an oil sensor or oil pressure issue.

Sensor in the pan has nothing to do with oil pressure. It merely warns of low oil level and gives oil temperature.
Drain oil and change sensor. That's it.

Thanks , yes it was the oil  pan sensor, had it scanned.  Hasn?t happened again and oil temp is pretty stable. Will replace it at next service.
