Hi team,

First time on here. I did a search for RS4 and EPC but not much came up. I was wondering if anyone had experience with a the EPC light coming on? I have been into the mechanics and they reckon it is the intake manifold has a couple of little flaps that are plastic based and as such kinda wear out. They replaced one with an aftermarket part, but they don't seemed to have helped. I am just conscious I could spend a fortune here and maybe make little difference.

I have been told:
1. Can code around them so the onboard computer doesn't check for them.
2. Can remove them.
3. Can replace with a new inlet manifold (stupid amounts of money)

Has anyone done either 1 or 2? I am a little concerned bypassing the problem doesn't really solve it and might in fact cause other issues.

Thanks team,

GLIDN

your options are as follows,

1. Replace with new intake manifold (cost high as metioned)

2. Remove flaps, remove arms, and retune the car. Then never dealing with it again.

Thank you. Have you experienced how an RS4 has behaved after this change has been made? I'm just a bit nervous of removing them as if they weren't required I don't believe Audi would have them in there in the first place.
