Just purchased a B8 S4 Avant Misano Red with very low Kms. Previous owner changed wheels from 19" Rotas to 18in with 245/45 tyres which looked odd. have changed back to 19in with 255/35, however car still looks too high, so suspect suspension may have been raised slightly. So, looking at lowering back to normal height. What sort of cost for lower springs fitted. Any advice welcome. Also, if someone has a set of 19in Rota5 8.5 wide wheels I'd be interested

It?s hardly definitive but according to wheel-size.com the correct tyre fitment for the 19? wheels is 245/35. That might explain why it?s sitting high. Would be quite unusual for someone to raise one of these?

Thanks for the info. Looking a changing rims to a 19 x 9.5 with my 255/35 tyres. The offset is 38+. Anything problematic with this choice?

No experience with this platform sorry, but 9.5 sounds like it might be pushing it a bit. Maybe speak to your wheel supplier who will no doubt have some experience with your platform.
