Had our irregular catch up with our son Tim last night. He's based in Berlin, he runs a cafe with a fellow kiwi.

While his normal mode of transport is bicycle mixed with public transport. But with WuFlu he's avoiding buses and trains and with the inclement weather setting in for winter, cycling and walking is problematic.

His solution, SIXT sharing. A T-Roc popped up on his app last week. Since it was listed as 'auto', he said he'd normally request another vehicle but he was running late. It was only when he saw the 'R' badge he figured 'this'll do'. He reckons it's way too quick for city driving and wishes he has more than 15 minutes of city pace driving to explore it.

I've seen plenty of T-Rocs around Auckland, but no 'R' versions.

Yes, unfortunately we only get the R-Line. The Roc R is bad ass and would be my choice of car if i needed to haul kids around. Theres plenty of youtubers in the UK that have reviewed these. Its pretty much R running gear in the T-Roc

Australia is getting it in 2022. Maybe NZ will around that time.
