Stolen Car Trailer - ARG !!!

These guys stole my car trailer on 28 Dec.
Its a very distinctive IFOR WILLIAMS CT177 trailer.
So too is their 4x4

It’s a really rare trailers in nz, so I’m hopeful it’ll been spotted sooner or later.
The Nissan Ute is also setup unique.

Interesting looking ute that and something that doesnt look like it belongs in Auckland City but something rural? Did you contact the NZTA and ask if the ute went through any tunnels exiting Auckland? It seems like they came well equipped too so playing back footage a month prior to see if anyone scoped it out might help

Looks like a cul-de-sac, so a good chance the thieves had been visiting or been tipped off by someone there - have you tried showing a picture of the ute to the people living/working there - with careful observation of their response?
The other thing is there is a good chance it will turn up on Trade-me, or similar, so keep an eye out on those.

I hate thieves, best thing for them is 6 feet of dirt!

Plates were removed from the Ute
It quite a unique Ute thou
- dent on top left rear window
- front Hillux bumper
- missing front wheel guard extensions

Just a thought,
my guess is, they didn't travel far with no plates, so maybe look for cameras down the road or in a side street not far from where it was stolen to see where they put the plates back on.

Only just spotted this.

Gutted for ya mate, mine was pinched in 2018, like you I had it locked with two measures of security and it was behind my workshop out of site.

Also like you the video was useless, Police were not interested and told me they are mostly stollen by weed growers, they load them up with stolen quad bikes and head deep into the bush.

Mine has never re surfaced.

Safe to say I just hire one now when I need it.

There are some great long life ones that can be concealed pretty well will ping couple times a day last 3-4 years on one set of lithium AAs

Yeah, next trailer will get some type of gps tracker
