These wires dropped down into the storage thingy under the headlight switch a while ago but I I have ignored them until I noticed that the red and yellow  wires had bare ends with solder on them. I taped them up and took the photo. Afe they imporant? It's an import from  Japan.
Also I have just moved from Christchurch to Mangawhai  and the car will need a service in a month or so and am looking at options.

Those wires and connectors with fuses are not original. They are most likely part of the toll system used on certain roads in Japan.
Does your car also have wire-like stickers on the top of the inside of the windscreen?
They could also be from a previous Bluetooth installation.
Either way, I?d just trace where it all goes and remove it.

Thanks for that Red. No stickers when I bought it 5yrs ago. I could get it removed at the service. :)

One of the many quirks of owning a Japanese import: https://andrewsjapanesecars.com/what-is-this-box-card-reader-etc/

Also the 'warning flare bracket', guaranteed to annoy a spouse in the passenger seat at some point: https://andrewsjapanesecars.com/flare/

I actually want to buy a flare to put onto those bracket... but the one for the boat are usually too thick for them
