'07 Golf 1.4 GT Turbo blown

The Turbo in our 1.4 Golf GT has gone. Anyone know if the 2.0 GTI Turbo fits? The Golf 1.4 GT has the BW K03 Turbo, and the GTI is the K03M. Alternatively, is the K03 Sport a direct replacement? There seems to be more GTI's breaking, so wondered if the GTI Turbo could be used as a replacement?

Not looking for more power as a rule, just want the easiest option to get the car back on the road.

I think i have a turbo off a 06 1.4 if that helps. i can see if i can get a part number for you.

Hi Mark,

Sounds promising, it's the 1.4 one I'm needing. Not sure if this is our only issue at this stage, but once we replace the turbo, then we can see how it goes. Keep me posted. Cheers
