Vw Caddy - Advise

Hi Guys,

I have a 2014 Vw caddy 2k and I'm looking at an engine swap etc. My current engine is a 1.2 tsi which is currently doing 256K but has been fully serviced from new...no issues with the current engine or gearbox.
What engine & gearbox (manual) will fit without having the engine bay modified. Just looking for a direct fit.

Hey mate. I have one of these too with same engine/trans combo. There are quite a few “bolt in” options from what I’ve seen. A bloke down in queens town has bolted a R36 engine into his, and another bloke here in chch has bolted a mk5 gti motor in (DSG tranny). I think being the same chassis as a touran will open your mind to other direct fit options too.
