A staff member at a client has a 2007 Superb 2.5 TDI
Has no problem starting in the mornings. But should he want to go for a lunch run, he may as well order through Uber. Because he could crank until his battery was almost flat before getting things going. Come home time however, if the car's been stationery all day, no problem.
It's reminiscent of a vapour lock issue I had with an '82 Passat carb fed wagon.
He's had O2 sensors changed, new battery, glow plugs and a starter overhaul.
Any advice beyond a box of matches?
