Part ID?

I bought an Audi A6 a couple of months ago, it's a Jap import and it had what I thought was a toll tagging device next to the rear view mirror on the front windscreen, it was annoying me so I cut it off with scissors, and have discovered that it's an Audi OEM part, and now i'm scared it's something more. Any ideas? thanks

If you google the part number it says it’s for ‘road toll system’.

I tried googling the part number and nothing came up, weird. So it is what I thought it was then. That's OK lol
