How do you know what version v6 tdi engine is in a touareg?

Some listings in trademe are listed as having the engine as 150kw, 180kw and one as 193kw. It's the listings that don't say is the problem

Jump on carjam and search the rego - 99 times out of 100 it will give you a power number.

True although not sure how reliable those are though. Certainly not in the case of the facelift B5 A4 1.8TQ which is listed as 110kw but is actually 132kw.

Carjam nearly always lists the engine code, I usually just look that up in wiki.
