QuoteDuplicate plates

If your registration plate has been damaged, destroyed or lost, you can apply for duplicate plates. You can only duplicate plates that are currently issued to the vehicle. Older style plates, ie the black plates with silver characters, can only be duplicated with a white retro-reflective background and black characters.

Duplicate ordinary plates will usually only be issued for plates that can be returned, ie damaged. Duplicate ordinary plates may be issued for plates that have been lost, stolen or destroyed if evidence of their destruction is provided, for example if the theft has been reported to the police.

To obtain duplicate plates you?ll need to be the registered person of the vehicle and have a New Zealand driver licence or other suitable ID. Please allow 7?10 days delivery time.

Personalised duplicate plates vary in costs depending on the style.

To order duplicate personalised plates contact LicenSys:

Phone: 0800 REMAKE (736 253),
Fax 09 276 9829

Love the finer details with this revival!  My favorite weapon of choice for these type of projects is my trusty Steam Cleaner.  works wonders on leather.

WRT to the replacement plates - do you mind me asking where you got them from?  Looking for a set of euro plates but only place I can see them available is on Kiwiplate, and definitely not at the price you mentioned :-)

Cheers Liv,
Might have to get my hands on one I have heard great things!
Yea so the link lemans pretty well covered it.
It only cost me $50 as they were a ?duplicate? of an existing personalised/euro plate.
Kiwi Plates don?t actually make the plates they just maintain the register of personalised plate. Licensys is the manufacturer so if you already have a personalised plate, you can go direct to them and get it remade. Its like $25 for normal plates and $50 for euro. Click the link then ?Online Applications -> Duplicate Your Personalised Plate?

Awesome. Thanks for the info - was hoping I could get euro plates made, but looks like I can only do that on a personalised rego.

Those steam cleaners are superb. Especially on the gear lever and steering wheel.

Copped a set of the Facelift R32, Speedline Omanyt wheels. Came off a Jap import that only had 60kms so are basically mint which was nice. Feel these are smarter looking wheel over the Pre-facelift Ronal Zolder wheels that came on my car. What do you guys think?
New wheels are the second pic 😂.

New set look better IMO and slightly easier to clean.......where did plastic covers on steel wheels go

Omanyt wheels for sure!  Looks really good.  Are they the same offset as the original ones you had?  Not sure if its the angle of the pic, but the rears appear a bit more aggressive and fill out quite nicely.

Definitely looks amazing on the Omanyts. The BBS CH i was telling you about would have been even better hahaha

Yeah, the Zolder were a PITA to clean. Are you referring to the black caps that go over the wheel bolts?

I totally agree! I feel like they look like a 19" without being a 19". Oddly both wheels are identical specs, 18x7.5 ET51.

These were far from the worst plastic headlights but I saw a guy who would do them both for $70 and I was curious as he didn't use the conventional sanding and polishing method. He had this fancy vaporizer thingy.

Sh*t Weather Saturdays are for interior cleaning! Was focusing on the leather and getting the human oil shine/gloss out of it.
Unfortunately only got one before shot as I got too excited and forgot  :'(
Interestingly the Mk5 doesn't have black leather as such its this funny grey.

Driver seat was tough but definitely an improvement.

Passenger seat came out like new.

Rears were pretty good from the get go don?t think they have seen many school runs.
