Option codes translation
« on: February 24, 2005, 02:24:11 pm »
Does anyone have, or know of a full list of option code translations for Audi?  Started this here as I want to know what all those numbers on the inside boot lid mean on my coupe and 80q, but logic suggests they might be the same over a number of models??

They relate to things like tints, alloys, leather, left side door mirrors, pwr windows etc etc.. Sometimes its useful to know what your car should have rather than what it does have now so you can track down those tweed brown floormats you miss so badly.

Had a bit of a look on web but nothing stands out.

I had always wondered if I could find them for my Mk2 Golf also, There is quite a big list in the boots and I don't know what any of them are... Anyone here found anything before?

I have the full list of codes for the whole VAG range - it's in HMTL format - so email me and I'll attach it back (the attachments here don't allow HMTL).  I hope this doesn't start everyone looking in the their boot to find out what options their vehicle has (or had).

Cheers ... PRM

Try again as I've done some fiddling with the allowed attachments. I'm sure that a few people will want to know.

Sorry - it's 883k - far to big for this forum (and most dial-ups I would suspect) ... it's all the codes for all vehicles for all countries. I'm going to put it up in my google mail account and send from there to anyone that wants it. :(

I'm just looking into this now but here is a link to the original source file if you want to have a look now.  http://www.audi-faq.ru/prnumbers/

Can also try this with image files that you can save. http://www.audi-forums.com/t1150-audi-80-optioncodes.htm

For those with type 44 Audi 200see http://www.meckisfaq.de/viewtopic.php?t=190  It's in German but that's no hurdle for people like us

For those with type 44 Audi 100 see http://www.meckisfaq.de/viewtopic.php?t=189
