The mod was $1k

It has an axisitng cage that had ~14 bars added.

Good ones are not cheap anymore, thus my final decsion to repair it, and not scrap it.

yip, its probably better than before now. Just need to sort out this missing issue (assume its old fuel, gets worse when warm), setup a replacment fan box (OEM removed as roll cage to strut tower addition went throu that space), Full service (brakes very spongy!), and a few other minor things like belts, refitting race electronics etc. xmas project.
