Hey.

Its a 99 mk4. 1.8t

fitting white face gauges this weekend, jamex spring kit and exhaust to come shortly...

Welcome aboard, same wheels as mine!
Watch those jamex springs, member GTIVR6 just bought some and not happy with them. I will have surplus Eibach springs soon as I'm having to get 4 motion ones for mine. (will get Eibach again, very happy with them)

Hey Vert,

Cool, drop me a PM with some more info re: the springs. I might be keen.

I had a set of King springs in my wrx and they were rubbish. Would like to go coil overs but theyre price prohibitive for me at the moment.

Cheers, Peter

Hi All,

It's a 2001 V6 4Motion. Imported from England by previous owner who brought it with him when he imigrated. No mods but I have a supercharger jar for all my change. I'm going to need more than one jar though.

It makes the missus nauseas, she doesn't like the rapid changing of direction etc.

EDIT: Image Removed.

Congratulations Dave, looks good in blue, also  pix of Rachel.
Now you will have to research Mk4 -4 motion forums to create a wish list.

Was it sunny again in Wellington?

That is a Stunning MKIV

only suggestion is a Euro Rubstrip for the Front and a Euro Bumper for the Rear and to top it off install some nice europlates from www.germanplates.co.nz (yes there is a .co.nz address for it)

Cheers.
Yeah, I'm not really a fan of red, but it stood out from the silver ones that seem to make up about 95% of them.
Please enlighten me, what is a Euro rubstrip?

I have a personalised plate (not the one in the photo obviously) and inquired about getting it made into a Euro but its $279!
I also thought a red-letter plate would look good but thats also $279, so maybe not.

Joel

Are those replica plates legal? Has anyone here purchased one?

They are not 'illegal' and a lot of us are running them :) Nice Mk4 btw.

Joel

Cool, I'll have to look into that, the front fits a normal plate fine, so just need one for the back really.

veedubman

the rub strip is the bulgy thing on the front bumper
