Hi all,

Just new the VW Golf scene (coming from BMW), picked up this the other week.  1.4 supercharger/turbo, very quick when compared to my E90 323i Msport.

It's a bit too low for my liking, does anyone know if I can get standard shocks from any MK5 Golf (either hatch or wagon, R32 or Golf GTI etc) and they'll fit right in and lift up the ride height?  I'll also have a set of Vogtland 50mm suspension for sale ior swap if they can.

Heino from autostance did the car. Ask him if he still has the standard suspension
Previous:MKIII Golf GL, MKIV Golf GTI, E36 325i, E36 323i, B5 S4 sedan, C32 AMG, B5 S4 avant, BMW 740iL.

Current:

Thanks mate, turns out that's the guy I bought it from, he's gonna sort me out next week.     Cheers!

Here we have a new addition to my stable. This is the most modern VW I have owned
NZ New GTI 147kw
Shadow Blue
New 3M Window tints
Slight tail light tints
K&N Panel filter replacement
Pretty much stock. Awaiting new head unit because the stock RCD300 is not great.

Upgrading the sounds because I love good audio and then I am undecided about whether I get an ECU remap done or not, but will most likely get that done in the next year.

This is my 2008 GTI, it is my first VW and I love it! I plan on doing an exhaust and tune upgrade sometime soon, if anyone could recommend someone in christchurch for this kind of thing I would be very appreciative. Also I would like to remove the R badges which were put on by a previous owner, any tips on how to do this without damaging the paint?

I saw this one advertised before you must have bought it from Indy cars, curious why we went there for it when there those other guys that specialise in golfs and have a white one that has loads of cool & expensive upgrades already on the car.

Will try and find link again for it

Are you curious why I bought this car? I'm a little bit confused by your comment.

Im trying to find it online. You went for a white GTI when theres another similar looking one with Brembo brakes and other expensive parts already installed yet you chose your one from those guys

Yeah looks good, esp if you change the front so it doesn't look like a hybrid R32/GTI.

I just prefer to research the best deals on cars online before buying.

Hah thanks.

I did have it the first day...then the second.
She was excited about her first turn with it this morning.
