Mk5 Owners - Your cars please

NOWAY1

A few upgrades in the last 3 weeks.  GFB DV+, 8" aftermarket stereo (needs a canbus gateway upgrade), LED lights inside and out, CF Hood (Bonnet), 18" Detroits, a few cosmetic mods and details.

80 Vert

With the last of the MK6 wrecked today the 3 door MK5 is next, bought
RHD door panels so far and a few other goodies (can't resist even though
its not for me  ;D)
Updating the interior with MK6 dash, cluster, electronics, RCD510 and MK6
steering wheel which should look pretty sweet.

2003 Jetta Coupe soon to be R36TT
1991 Golf GTI 2.0 TSI swapped
1963 Type 34 Karmann Ghia, turbo 2.0
1990 Porsche 964 911 Carrera 4
1980 1303 Beetle vert, under restoration

Nice! U not fitting the mk6 engine?  >:D
Make sure u do the noise pipe delete that the us spec mk5's come with.

Ah yes you right, in that case dont worry about the noise pipe as that was for their FSI engine.

Looks awesome :) where did you get the Detroits from? Considering getting them for ours, or something similar, but the 5x112 pattern is so restrictive :(

very nice, did you do the grill or buy it like that? Looks good with the wheels.- but i'd say that as i have a similar combo!

I bought the car late last year, and the previous owner had painted the grill black. It did look good, but the grill had a couple of splits in it so I have since replaced it with the stock silver grill. Looks good in both colours really.
