Heres a pic of the car with the new wheels, click the siggy link for all the pics...
Also found out my car is not chipped at all, the ECU program is untouched. That would make 158KW at wheels pretty good...

awesome, that would make for minimal drivetrain loss.

and an easy mod for the shopping list >:D

Yeah once the cambelt is done. Its nice to know its not been modified in the past, might extend the life of the turbos a bit...

you've got the right model, but would need more than just the turbos when doing that upgrade.

doing that upgrade would sacrrifice some low range torque and response, which in daily driving is probably more useful. food for thought anyway.

No i just mentioned that when you were talking about mods. The house needs to be renovated so no turbo upgrade for me, im sure a full exhaust and tune should do the trick in the future. This car wont last long anyway, we both want something newer so this will need to go in prob 20-30kms time so it still has some value left. End of next year i hope to have a 2004 S4, a 2007 S3 or a E46 M3.

Yeh sorry I edited the picture link a couple of times (had a couple of wines last night to celebrate!). This is probably a better picture of the car:

That RS4 looks like a good one Le Mans.
Is it the one from Continental, or the private sale?

Yep that's my 2001 A4 1.8TQ Avant Le Mans. It's actually a great piece of kit but it's power output is no comparison to that of the RS4. The RS4 in third gear is just incredible (actually it's pretty good in the other gears too!).

I bought the one from CCS, just 47k on the clock. The car is in great condition. See the other thread on 'What would you pay for...'

98' Audi A4 1.8TQ, 5 speed, Red, S4 Body Kit, 18" A8 Rims... Thats about it at this stage.

Next on the list, Chip, DV, Filter, Exhaust, maybe some 35% Tints..

Only had her about 1 month and loving it!

Indeed I am! Wondering whether to get that black stripe on the side color coded now....? Or maybe I should just put the $$$ into ECU mods.. (the addiction starts)...
