Down at the supermarket yesterday there was you typical Mk5 R32 driver (well for HB anyway), a 50+ woman. Anyway I parked next to her R32, had a look inside and it had standard design Mk5 GTI seats (leather), I thought all Mk5 R32s had those neat looking winged seats?

Doesn't sound out of the ordinary.... 50-ish woman in R32.........in fact neither do the seats......

I'd suggest it an option?? "Recaro Seats with Vienna leather trim"

it's because they're 5 door automatics! now if they were 3dr manual only...

No practical car is ever going to be exclusive. Make a great, semi-affordable car and everyone is going to want one.

Yea agreed, it just surprises me that so many 50-ish women want a car with that much power.  Don't they normally want Corollas or Mazda 2's!?

HandsomeDan

They don;t realise that 32 stands for 3.2l

They think that's the age they'll look if they drive one!

Just to clarify guys the MK5 R32 does not come with the motor sport seats as standard, they are a 4k extra!

Also I can empathise with 50 year old women driving these cars, they are so god dam easy to drive, the tunning circle for a 4 wheel drive car is amazing, you can drive it like your grandma and think isn?t this lovely, then floor it then it becomes a very competent hot hatch, and the sound???????arh that Miltek!
