How many MB owners do we have on Vask, thinking my next quattro having now had RR and WR should be a Pearl MB ....  ;)

Isn't there just one one peal white MB in NZ?

I  accumulated an informal register over time of quattros that are known to be in NZ.

Correct ex UK. Pearl on black leather is one of the best colour options.

Horch is correct, it came here via the UK. It's not quite NZ new, but is about as close as you can get otherwise. Assembly was 31 Oct '87, then was reg in NZ just over 2 months later, - on 11 Jan '88.

WRURQ

I think you should sell your Pearl MB to me .... lol

You obviously haven't seen it's mileage...😊

WRURQ

Mileage no issue, my WR has just gone past 150,000 miles and has had less issues than my old RR that only had 118,000 km?s. I reckon they need to be driven and enjoyed and being Peal would just add to the enjoyment factor 😉👍🏼

FFS

I've driven mine a lot since I bought it, Al. It's up to 325,000km now. I'd rather take the loss in value that incurs than not drive it.

FFS?s and the quattro I own of the same model year are only 503 units apart by vin in production.  Dave the previous owner and I compared the cars as I was reassembling my engine bay. It was interesting to note the many differences in bulk head appartures and numerous changes in ancillary layout and install. It highlighted how the last of the ?hand build? era of Hall N2 production was under constant change with quattro evolution.

I bought my quattro in 1998 when it displayed approx 80,000km. Spent an significant and on going fortune on it since and to this day I have never driven it...

That?s awesome and good to see others are also enjoying driving these awesome cars, I would love to buy a Pearl MB so if you ever consider selling or wanting to exchange for a WR with lower km?s give me a shout ... I?m keen ... lol

Do you have a plan to one day get it finished and back on the Road, it?s such an awesome Car seems a shame to not have driven it in all that time, saying that looks awesome and I?d be happy just looking at it in the garage ...

FFS

I've seen Horchs MB. It is going to be the equivalent of a new car when he has finished it, and will be the top urq in NZ. Beautiful.
