A couple more pics and a vid of me rolling up to the drive a couple of weeks ago. Big thanks to Poonmobile for taking mint photos!

Wicked - honestly this car has sold me on Corrados. The only problem is the pics don't do justice to how small and squat it is. Standing next to it is an experience asit feels like the roof height is barely past your belt buckle. So damn sweet!!!

Cheers Filx  :D It's such a small car and will be even lower when I get my Weitecs in & smaller tyres on the front  8)

need some real europlates for it now..

VeeDub

F*ck 'real' europlates! The only reason I'd want to pay $600 or whatever it is would be to shove them straight back up the tight assholes of plates.co.nz. Cheers

Those last two photos look the mutts nuts man.  8) 8)

Have you thought about smoked indicators on the tails? The only change I would consider, I can't wait to see it in person!

Have thought about smoked but I want a cleaner look so I'll get some all red OEM lights, match the red 16v badge, nice and clean, works with the blue. A few more niggly bits to be done like smaller tyres up front, tail lights, replacing little bits and pieces etc but it's getting closer and closer to what I've had in my head for the last 6 years

Spooln, you'll see it at Stance Off if you come along again  8)

Hey, Just brought myself a NZ new manual 93' 2.0L 16V Corrado, tidy little car, have purchased a set of coilovers which should hopefully go in, in the next couple of weeks fingers crossed, also on the hunt for some rims. Here is a few photo's. . .

More info is necessary!

What parts did you use for the 24V transplant?

My suspicion levels turned to almost certainty when I saw you needed a face lift bonnet, following your need for various parts (my old 280mm 4x100 discs being one!) ;)

Does this mean the KR is going in the 'rocco?

VeeDub

Can't be bothered putting a build thread up, maybe later.

It's running 24v BDE motor with 70,000kms, VR6 O2A box, Sachs clutch, Viper remap & de-immo ECU, corrado VR6 cluster & original key, Woolf 2.5" cat back exhaust, solid front mount, mk3 sub frames, G60 280mm brakes, BMC air filter & mk3 VR6 steel sump. Goes like a cut cat... Mad respect & thanks to 80 Vert for the build.

I've bought 3 other cars to get this one to where it is now. One for parts, one for the wheels, one for the bonnet.

Not necessarily..

rambo_005

Love the way you've done this! All looks standard... until you open the bonnet ;D
