Pretty much as the topic title suggests.

A 3A would be a 2 litre, 4cyl, 8valve engine.

Have you tried any wreckers Phil?

80's (whole ones) seem to be ridiculously cheap at the moment...could you possibly buy one with Transmission or body trouble and nick the engine?

Yes, I have left about three Euro wreckers my number, and they will get back to me if they have one.

I don't have the room for a whole car..especially when I only need the block out of it.

Its not urgent....but if one presents itself cheap enough I'd be keen...would need to be in good nick as well.

Pick a part, they always have several there with intact motors.
$65.00 for the bare short block.
Mangare, Avondale or Takanini.
