Does anyone have one of these, for the 2.8 V6 (AAH) motor. I'm guessing that the 2.6 V6 uses the same tool. It connects to the two cam sprockets to correctly position the cams fitting timing belt, or in my case replacing cam seals.

Need one urgently to be 100% sure of timing after head work, otherwise have to rely on marks.

There's no key on the camshaft to lock the sprocket in place, so no failsafe way of keeping the sprocket in postion w.r.t. the camshaft. I've got mine marked up but still would prefer the VAG tool.

Nice to use the tool though and nice to make use of a friendly Vask offer.
I can vouch for hartster  returning it un harmed and hes in Auckland.
Havent meet dennydude but hes pmed me, seems a nice young fella.
we made up a tool as well tho with a bar and some bolts and a welder.
The end is nigh, but the end of what is the question?
