How about a Lupo dash? Must be some wrecked ones of those around these days? Might now even need to trim anything?

Not that the old mk1 fuse boxes were so great or anything (they only seem to give trouble if they are the very old bullet fuse type and if the screen leaks water on the relays etc)
But why would you want to replace it with a mk4 fuse box? I'm not 100% sure about the main fuse box but the stupid system they have on top of the battery's is too be avoided like the plague.

Finally lifted the car onto the hoist to remove the engine before the new front gets fitted.
Not much of a problem, but a bit of a pain in the arse.
I will clean up all my poor engineering up while the engine is out.

Thought you may have noticed the front tyres were not mounted correctly, (left wheel is on wrong side).
Bit you didnt.
The sump is VW motorSport type, schrick sump, if spelling is correct.
