Ive just been reading that insiders at VW admit to taking there eye off the ball with recent GTIs (only since the Mk1! IMO ;) )
Anyway it sounds like the Mk5 GTI is going to be great car. The best news, I have heard is a rumour of a stripped out 230bhp version! Yummy!

Ive heard all these, read a few articles. I dont know if we can trust all the stuff on the internet!

A striped out version would be cool though!

The mk5 is growing on me!

a 300hp+ version is already available at AmD though~
