oil leak

Hey I fixed my pesky oil leak.  The neighbours will be pleased and the road may recover while it still has a good layer of asphalt.  That  site is quite good, can search for topics, heaps on oil leaks esp ones that develop quickly and get worse fast, oil pooling on sump flange near dipstick tube.  Website said it would be a oil pressure switch so got one from supercheapautos for $8 and its perfect.  That was the brown coloured lower switch which is about 0.3 bar.  Had to go to audi shop for the upper switch, white one that is 1.8 bar and $36.  Still better than 2l of oil per tankful.  Replaced weeping water hose thingy to the turbo too, so now just have to wait for the next surprise. ;D
