what are you going to do about the crank case breather. i wanted to take the rocker cover beather of mine and put a breather filter on it to stop all the carbon going in the intake. but some one said it is not good for the engine.
what is your plan.

I am going to use a crank case breather blocking plate from TSR

I'm using the original with a adapter from TSR as well. Hopefully ordering within the next week.

Any recommendations where to gaskets and head bolts from?

Never heard APR, whats that?

I use ARP. Automotive Racing Products.

SPS, also make good fasteners/studs, good enough for carrillo.

Also there is a contest, Raceware make bloody good fasteners for vw-audi porsche. They were good enough for Vw motorsport.

But at the end of the day, have you QTA4, had experience of and engine as discribed having head fastner trouble, with oem stuff? please share your experience and educate me. Thanks

yea i knw about them but our cars currently have head bolts...so how can we use head studs?

The studs replace the bolts. You wind in the studs into the block. The studs have a fine metric or unf thread on the nut end. It converts the block to studs. Much nicer than bolts.
