Not at the moment. I took the car to a guy in hastings to get some work and the cert done. handed over my money but the guy was a c*!t  and took my money and every time i asked for a receipt he told me next time i came in he would have one for the money i paid. Well he went bankrupt....not for the first time apparently either. So i lost over 1400 which was supposed to get the car all finished. but now saving for uni and trying to get a daily driver has taken up all my money so my golf is on the back foot untill i can save enough to get it all done again.

Pay the man a visit... Bring friends, and a trailer ;D

Bankrupt or not, he'll still be living relatively comfortably... If he objects to your taking of his property, tell him he can have a receipt next time >:D

Have done this in the past and it really goes down well

It was running before i moved to uni  have been doing little bits and pieces tiding it up but no real work since the move to chch.  the 3a never went in i ended up putting a  different engine i got from another fourm member in.  After i tuned it it was running pretty well but  i still felt the need for more power so come the end of my uni days a big hp 1.8t may be in order or something even more extreme but we will see. The MK1 is using up most of my spare time down here in quake city atm.
cheers
