Hello all,

I recently bought a 1997 A4 1.8L Quattro, and are having trouble finding an insurance company who will give me full insurance, because of my age. (19) I've talked to National Auto Club and they will insure it, but I've heard some dodgy stories about them.
So I'm just wondering if you guys can help me out! Who are you insured with? / Or can you suggest a company I can try?

Regards,

Im 18 and have my 1998 a4 1.8 insured with AA for $500ish each year for full(12k value).

Quattro may be a bit more expensive

Its under my Dads name but im the primary driver.

Go to your local insurance place and inquire, it will need to be underwritten as you are "high risk"

Go with a major insurance company that has a office near you so its easy to claim face to face

Dubious

NAC is now owned by IAG (which also owns State and NZI). I think their reputation pre-dates this takeover.
