Have the US boys on www.audiworld.com done such things prior ? I would hate to take a unique and new path, it could be expensive.

thanks Beeker and Turbo for your suggestions, as the wheels are 19x10 at rear, it sticks out quite a bit aye, so just rolling the guard may not enough, cheers

Its a pity deep dish rims and "S" Audis dont really work. There isnt usually enough clearance over the oversize brake caliper to fit a decent size dish under the guards. I had an issue with mine and had to settle with a standard style rim cause it was too much hassle. The rim will probably stick out of the side of the car, and you will have major issues with guard rubbing, especially if you plan on lowering the car.

Yes, you are quite right mate.  wheels i ordered are 3 pieces. has 19x9 (19x6+19x3) for front with 35 offset, 19x10 (19x6+19x4) with 40 offset, tried to make the wheels not sticking out too much. but yeah, needs quite a bit bodywork i recon. as i've been quoted $1000 per corner to get it done. they'll cut the factory guard, weld another piece one, which will give enough clearance for lowering, and gives the car factory looking wider guard.

Who quoted you that? To be honest, thats probably fair, but i would be concerned who would be doing this and that the job would be good.

If you want a 'professional' alternative, try Andy from RaceFX. He built 3x F40's (see below for actual last car) and is currently building a widebody E46 M3 GTR replica, all customin house one off mouldings. (see below for random google pic of the factory GTR)
