Title: A3 (2002) Replace Yaw Rate Sensor Intermittent fault
Post by: PeterW on April 30, 2017, 11:41:51 PM
Hi Folks,
is it possible to simple swap out a Yaw rate sensor with intermediate fault, or does the new sensor have to be rematched to the (ECU?) system ('Vagged' is it?).  If so, does ID info need to be extracted from the faulty sensor before removal?   Thanks

Swap them over, clear the fault and off you go.

If it's the combi sensor type (from a FWD car) I have a couple of second hand ones if that is of interest.

Yes, Interested in combi sensor Yaw sensor for 2002 A3 (much easier than chasing a reconditioned one ex Europe on EBay).  Could you please either email me a price at [email protected] or text me at 027 454 7873.  Thanks
