Got one loaned to me 2009 3.6 4mo silver all the extras, sun roof, air conditioned/heated seats, tan and black interior, Interlogos rims that look like G.E. turbofan jet engines....
It can parallel park on auto pilot.
30,000 kms.
ooohhhhhhh....
The missus even likes it.
What does it take to fill the tank, $125?
What clicks per tank ? 600km?
Is it the same engine/ tweak as R36?
Are the maintenance costs similar to the tdi?
Its got Continental 235/40 R18 self healing tires with 4mm tread all round.
How much per tire ? $400?
Really nice car, imho.

Only 2 in the front, but, what a way to go!
Ive never had 3 in the back of my B 6 TDI, so no big deal from my point of view.
I think its a cool machine for the "over the hill gang", me being a young 67 :D
The missus said shes never driven a car that snarls....
The drive train appears to be the same as the R36 (220kW/350Nm/6spd DSG).
Not sure about the suspension tuning.
IMO looks nicer than an R36.
:D
70L fuel tank so will take a bit more than $125 to fill...

They sell the CC here in 125kW TDI, but FWD.

Nice car.
There is one in my neighbourhood and I admire it every time it drives by and a friend down the road, who can't see past BMW'S, commented to me 'how nice it was'
Nice !

I did the shots last nite at French Bay. :)
Your one is so much nicer looking than the latest blunt nosed version.
Shape, colour, wheels = perfect.
:D
New one looks like a Ford Falcon, blaaah

very nice, what did you do with the TDI passat? traded it?
Very nice car.
When I was in Florida last year I couldn't believe how many passat cc's there was.

Close to Harley Davidson Fat Boy Silver.

Ya, traded both 2002 v6 Golf and 2005 Passat tdi.
All good.

Very nice car.
When I was in Florida last year I couldn't believe how many passat cc's there was.
This one has a nice tropical feel with the cream and Alcantra leather seats.
The dash is "Vavona" walnut with glass panorama roof, air conditioned or heated seats, rear electric sun blind, just add palm trees.
SWEET AS!

Now you know how I feel when I run through a full tank of 98 in the 80GTE. But then I typically get 900+ for the effort..... I try fill up when she gets to half, doesn't seem quite as painful.
But as Anton says, TDi. That'd see some k's on that size tank.
68 litres according to the manual so 68 x2.29 = $156. ish.
600km ish.
Same as my ex 2002 Golf v6 4mo. it was $110 to fill and 425km.
BTW, this is my 13 VW.
Got it Fri aft.so heavy manual reading time.
May drop by Giltraps for an advanced seat training ...... :D
Very stylish car.
Good on you Doug, nice to see you having fun ;)
The black cop drives one of these on the tv show Grimm.
Makes a change from the usual yank metal.
Now to take it completely off topic, what do you think of Grimm? Here the missus was expecting something along the lines of "Once Upon a Time", but the popcorn bowl got tossed quite early on. Haven't seen her jump like (watching a movie) that in quite a while.
About the CC, glad to see some quality product placement on telly.
Always liked this Passat variation, good choice Doug - would have one in a heartbeat if the piggy bank wasn't already busted into little bits....

Saw it a while ago off in HD, unlike crappy Prime's SD.
It was quite good, imo much, much better than Once Upon A Time < a load of old twaddle if ever there was.
Very classy!
Nice. They always seem to look better in the flesh than in photos!
Still for sale lol, might wanna tell them...

Still on first fill up .
Thank the Lord for the nite time.
It twirlz its eyebulbs when it starts up at nite and dazzles AKL China town.
Be good if VW grts upgrade for " flare and chafe, when, drones, etc.
So first fuel up today,
532k. 140 was highway.
Used 62.2L. Hi octane @ $2.07=$129.32 grocery 5 cent disc inc. :-X
I think 700 km highway a dooable.
So I got this spoiler painted Reflex Silver
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-2009-2011-PASSAT-CC-REAR-WING-TRUNK-SPOILER-/251191993959?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2009%7CMake%3AVolkswagen%7CModel%3ACC&hash=item3a7c35a667&vxp=mtr
And it looks good.
It seems like it might need heat gun to bend into position for accurate placement.
Any one have experience fitting this stuff?
Any tips?
Ta!
No progress fitting the spoiler.
Must meet panel beater one day.
anyhoo, ordered the genuine VW cargo net to comp[liment my genuine lift out rubber boot mat.
Hopefully arrive from Germany next week.
First problem.
The car has blown a daylight running bulb and is booked in for a replacement Monday first thing.
Hey mate that spoiler will be a peice of cake to fit...
As for the drl should be simple to change also...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
bulb could f u warranty if by mere mortal, even if uTubed how easy.
plus, no free groom, but would REALLY LIKE inside rims cleaned.......
thats a dealer problem.
It gets so complicated
Ranton,
PM fur shure
Heres some shots taken w my cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom, at Pukukohe Farmers parking.

Still looking good.
classy, much better than the square nosed facelift.
Agree, that was a facelift that didn't quite come off.
Be interesting to see what the new CC looks like when it appears
Me again.
I never did fit that spoiler. Couldna been the right one so I biffed it.
Anyhoo, im replacing wiper blades and was wondering if there are better ones than factory?

3 years ownership as of may 15, so will get another 3 year warantee and put it rhru another 3 year cycle.
Really like how it handles in "SPORT" suspension mode, flicks around the corners well for
its size.
67k on it now.
Gave it a bath in the rain this morning in the back yard.
Were on tank water
(https://www.vask.org.nz/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi130.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp248%2FNZDoug%2Fme-and-VWCC.jpg&hash=7c26bb98bfefd960528b362ab07f8fe252040cf7) (http://s130.photobucket.com/user/NZDoug/media/me-and-VWCC.jpg.html)
still looks good nzd.
curves win over sharp edges like the latest passats
8)
Unfortunately the one I have here needs a little more TLC than that at this point
Anyone seen a donor car in the North Island, with a good RR quarter?
I'm loathe to wreck it - very low k's and a gorgeous car to .... errrr... sit in
That hurts.
If you do part it out, I would be intersted in a reverse camera, if it has one.
So you can see when backing camera.
So its my six year anniversary with the VWCC.
At 100,000 kms. now.
Just bought another 3 year warrantee and gave the car a full service.
Gitrap updating the navigation system next Weds.
All good.
Still in love. :)
and 2 years on I am still looking for a donor for my repair :(
Have repaired and re-certified 2 other CC's in the meantime
