Spoiler warning - don't read if you are a FWD detractor! >:D
It's front wheel drive because it's faster.
Don't Audi's top engineers realise that years ago someone came up with the mythical figure of 300bhp being too much for FWD?? :o :o And ever since everyone has believed it..... ;D ;D
Wonder what they do to increase front traction.
My A3 is far better than stock since I installed uprated engine/trans mounts, h&r springs, Whiteline ALK, front control arm bushing kit and fitted decent 225 tyres; but im still only running 200bhp (or thereabouts). Still scrabbles a bit for traction in 1st, 2nd.
Guess this would help..
QuoteWheels: O.Z. Racing 11"x18" Cast Magnesium Wheels (R8 LMS)
Tires: 305-680/18 Pirelli P Zero
A proper diff will make a huge difference
Also their widebody A4 has been taken back to a 4 cylinder , less weight and less power still equals faster times in Time attack
