How come that in Europe manuals are still sold in large numbers?
Is it possibly a case of what is served up here..........take it or go without.
Another thought is texting and changing gear as well may be all too difficult
i just got back into a manual after 7 years of DSGing and it's like my left foot never rested !
back to heel and toeing in no time.

Changing back to a manual myself recently, the one thought in my mind as I drove it out of the showroom was, I must not stall this in front of these people watching my departure
escaping auckland during peak hour was a true test of dedication to the manual gearbox !
I think as long as you don't have some stupid heavy clutch that clamps way harder than your car actually needs, most modern manuals are actually pretty easy to live with, even in traffic.
agree.
the renault is a doodled compared to my old subaru.
I loathe automatics - give me a manual any time - especially in trafic as that is when you really have more control.
