I noticed that in the previous issue of NZ Autocar that there was a price for a MK7 GTI Manual. I've finally got around to looking at the Volkswagen website (which has also been improved) which confirms this to be correct.

Good to see that NZ buyers now have the option for a manual 'box. At $58,500 it's a $2.5k saving I would take if I was a new car buyer.
Would have been great if the Golf R Wolfsburg was available in manual. Sadly not. Great that the GTI is.
at least the r wagon gets a decent gearbox,
unlike the new subaru levorg wagon which is stuck with a cvt.
