White is fine - Photos look good & sponsors are visable.
1986 - 89 ?
The cars were registered in 1986 (M) and 1987 (N), what year are those photos from Nik?

Yeah thats about right with the dates.
In 1990 a Rallye came 3rd overall.

all that mud on a white car.... as it is it takes me quite a while to wash my car.... just imagine those....

I dont think any of those Golf Rally cars will still be around. The Rallye had European plates on it. It would be good to run the plates on the 2 other cars pictured above.
Back in the late 80's early 90's all overseas competitor's were required to register and WOF there cars before they could compete in Rally New Zealand, the cars would have left the contry straight after the event.
Remember Kenneth Ericsson driving for I think a 3 car team in about 90-91
