Awesome that it's manual - If you can't fix it, I'll give you $100 for the car  >:D

It's a weird code - doesn't really tell you much... but I wouldn't suspect it was related to the  rough running and low power - that's more likely coil, cam sensor or maf type issues - there are a number of data feeds you can look at while it's running and see whats happening.

Does it run rough all the time? What milage is on it, and has it had the intake cleaned out?

Is the car factory manual, any mods?

How does the running issue manifest itself?

Yes it is a factory manual...pretty rare

Took a while for one to come up for sale...

The engine  misses on light throttle but idles fine

Does seem low on power but I didn't want to start replacing things that actually are ok

It has done 170 k

Hi there,

This is either a faulty or failing air flow meter, or a vacuum leak on the engine intake somewhere at or after the air flow meter.

Switch the ignition off,
unplug the cable from the air flow meter
start it up and take it for a test drive.

Plug the cable back to the air flow meter afterwards so you don't forget.

Please report back on the symptoms whilst driving with the air flow meter disconnected.
