Hey guys. A B7 A4 has popped up that I?m looking to buy. In the final stages of coming to a stop (10-0kmph) there is a slight shudder from the transmission as if it?s slow to shift to neutral and causing the engine to strain. It?s subtle, hard to notice it every time.
I googled it and seemed to find posts suggesting that it was somewhat normal and not to worry about it.
Anyone here have any thoughts on it? The car has done 110,000km. No service history in terms of any servicing of the transmission unfortunately.
Kaspa on Sunnybrae Rd will do a gearbox check and report for you, they're good guys and Tristram Euro sends their gearbox work there
Seems somewhat normal - or at least common
